GeoCore
provides these systems as "built to order". Two core size variations
of the system are produced, a 38 mm (1.5 in) and a 50mm (2.0 in) unit. The basic
system package includes all the components required to take 1 meter long cores
to a depth of 25 meters from the surface of a 10 meter deep lake or pool. The
basic package also includes 24 sample tubes. GeoCore can supply smaller systems
at a slightly greater cost for some components as well as large systems with
discounts on those same components.
